Terms of service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms cover the Front-line call-answering service, provided by Van Rooyen Enterprises Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 17235628 ("we", "us"). By taking the service you agree to them.
The service
Front-line answers calls that divert from your business number, on the coverage rules agreed with you. An AI receptionist takes the caller's name, number and reason for calling, answers routine questions from the information you supply, and sends you a notification summarising the call. We configure the call divert remotely and tailor the receptionist to your business as part of standard set-up, which is included in both plans. Appointment booking and integration with other systems are available only where they have been specifically configured for your account and the system concerned is supported. Complex integrations, unusual call flows and multi-location set-ups fall outside standard set-up and may be quoted separately.
Plans and price
- Missed Call Cover — £97 per month. Front-line answers when you cannot, on the coverage rules agreed with you: missed, busy, overflow or out-of-hours calls. It is intended for ordinary missed-call volumes for a small business.
- Full Receptionist — £199 per month. Front-line answers every incoming call that diverts to it. The fee is a flat monthly charge, priced for ordinary inbound call volumes for a small business.
- Standard set-up is included with both plans. There is no set-up fee.
- Both plans run month to month. There is no contract term and no minimum period.
Free trial
Both plans start with a 14-day free trial: the full service from day one, at no charge.
If you choose to continue after the 14 days, the monthly fee for your plan applies from the end of the trial. You can stop at any point, including during the trial, and nothing is charged for the trial period itself.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time by phone or email. Cancellation takes effect from your next billing date; you won't be charged again after that. There is no cancellation fee. On cancellation we remove the call divert, and your number and line remain yours throughout, as they always were.
Reasonable use
Both plans are flat monthly fees, intended for ordinary inbound business call volumes. If your call volume is far outside what's normal for a small business, we'll discuss it with you rather than cut you off, but we reserve the right to agree a revised price or end the service with notice.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for making sure you're entitled to divert calls from your number, for keeping your contact details with us up to date, and for how you use the information passed to you. Call-divert charges from your own phone provider, if any, are yours.
Service standards and liability
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but no phone or AI system is infallible: calls can occasionally fail, and messages can occasionally be delayed or contain errors. You shouldn't rely on the service as your only channel for critical or emergency communications. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Data
How we handle caller and client data is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
